The work includes:

• Marking and removal of all weak, loose, and deteriorated concrete around the corroded reinforcement using mechanical or manual means up to sound concrete surface.

• Cleaning of exposed reinforcement using mechanical wire brushing, sand/grit blasting, or rust remover chemicals to achieve a bright metal finish.

• Application of anti-corrosive coating on cleaned reinforcement to prevent further rusting.

• Reinstatement of section using polymer-modified mortar or micro-concrete of approved make to restore the original profile and cover.
